Senior Tax Manager

Full-time

Hutchinson & Walter, CPAs

About Hutchinson & Walter

Hutchinson & Walter is a Bellevue-based CPA firm helping clients make confident, tax-smart decisions through exceptional tax compliance, advanced planning, estate and trust taxation, and sophisticated business advisory services.

Founded in 1977, we have grown into one of the region’s established independent firms while remaining committed to something increasingly rare in public accounting: creating a place where great people build long-term careers.

We are proud to be a 100% women- and minority-owned, owner-led CPA firm with a culture built on technical excellence, collaboration, mentorship, and opportunity.

Why Join Us?

We believe that when we take care of our people, they take care of our clients and our business.

Our goal is to be the kind of workplace talented tax professionals are glad to be part of: challenging, supportive, intellectually engaging, and filled with people who enjoy doing excellent work together.

We’re looking for a seasoned business-tax leader who knows the technical work inside and out, builds lasting trust with clients, and develops the people around them. You’ll lead a portfolio of business clients, oversee engagement teams, and play a key role in the firm’s leadership and growth.

If you’re driven, highly detail-oriented, naturally curious, and enjoy working with other smart people who support one another’s success, we’d love to meet you.

What Makes Us Different

  • Strong investment in training and professional development
  • People-first culture focused on long-term careers, not burnout
  • A genuine commitment to continuous learning, where staying curious and sharpening your skills is part of how we work
  • A team that genuinely cares about our workplace and our systems, and welcomes fresh ideas to make how we work better
