job summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to work Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm for a 6-month contract in Mansfield, MA. This 100% on-site, first-shift role is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative environment and directly impact the quality of life-saving surgical instrumentation.

responsibilities:

• Perform finishing techniques including buffing, polishing, grinding, deburring, and etching on medical device products.
• Load and unload surgical instruments within a laser marking machining center.
• Utilize basic measuring equipment such as optical comparators and video measurement equipment.
• Conduct routine visual inspections to identify defects and ensure compliance with blueprints and quality specifications.
• Maintain organized documentation and a clean laboratory/manufacturing work environment.

 
qualifications:

• High School Diploma, Vocational Education, or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience reading blueprints and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales, and indicators).
• Proven ability to work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
• Strong communication skills to effectively exchange technical information within the team.
