Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.Job DescriptionPosition HighlightsThe Institutional Client Group (ICG) Portfolio Manager partners with ICG Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage a portfolio of MidCap and Large Corporate Banking credit relationships in the professional services and contractor industriesGrows revenue as directed by senior management by successfully closing new business relationships and retaining and expanding relationships with existing customersUnderwriting all types of credit account exposure, managing an assigned credit portfolio, successfully closing new business relationships and expanding existing relationships, managing credit risk and responding to prospect or customer credit questions and making independent calls on assigned portfolio of relationshipsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceEight or more years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills and Experience12-15 years’ experience, preferably at national or large regional banksStrong comfort levels of credit analysis on complex commercial and corporate credits ($100MM in Revenues and higher), preferably C&I loans and OORE (not CRE, dealer, equipment finance, wealth, or ABL)Experience with spreads, projections, determining credit ratingsComfortable arguing in support or opposition of a credit request from the relationship team to portfolio management leadership or credit approversWillingness to mentor less experienced PMsExceptional writing and presentation skillsAble to oversee complex loan documentation with drafting counselExperience underwriting asks from existing clients as well as new prospectsComfortable underwriting large exposures (routinely close to or over $100MM)Familiarity with banking policy and the ability to apply it to credit approvalsFamiliarity with Moody’s Credit LensHybrid/flexible scheduleThe role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
