Customer Service Representative

Water Mill Building Supply is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Water Mill, NY . This full-time, Monday–Friday position is ideal for someone with strong communication and customer service skills who enjoys helping customers and working in a fast-paced showroom environment. The Customer Service Representative will assist customers by phone, email, and in person, process orders and payments, schedule appointments, and work closely with our sales team to provide an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person. Provide accurate information regarding products, services, orders, and company policies. Schedule customer appointments with sales associates. Process orders, returns, exchanges, payments, and other customer requests. Resolve customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally. Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records. Follow up with customers to ensure requests and concerns are resolved. Coordinate with sales and other departments to address customer needs. Maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming showroom environment. Protect confidential customer information and follow company policies and procedures. Meet established customer service, quality, and performance standards. Schedule Monday through Friday

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Previous customer service, customer support, retail, showroom, administrative, or sales support experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional when assisting customers and resolving concerns. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable using computers, email, and business software. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Must be able to reliably commute to Water Mill, NY . Preferred Skills Experience with order processing and customer relationship management.
