Construction Equipment Technician

Westside Equipment Co, LLC. continues to grow and we are seeking an experienced construction equipment technician to join our successful team. Responsibilities Westside Equipment is now hiring a full-time Construction Equipment Technician, responsibilities include: Be flexible and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities. Support the efforts of other employees to ensure success. Repair and maintenance of aerial and dirt equipment in a timely manner. Perform quality repairs at all times and notify management of any substandard process, parts or procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA/ANSI requirements. Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace. Work performed in a shop environment such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives. Must be able to repair and maintain equipment on construction sites. Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times. Qualifications Job Qualifications: Must have your own tools. Clean driving record and valid drivers licence. Provide an MVR when applying. CDL is not required but preferred. Have or be able to obtain a DOT Med card. Two plus years of progressive experience as an equipment technician. Hands-on, team-oriented. Strong problem-solving capabilities. Ability to offer solutions to problems. Critical thinking-using logic common sense to resolving problems. Flexibility to take on new responsibilities and challenges. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Drug and Alcohol free work environment.
