Occupational Therapy Professional
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as an occupational therapy professional providing crucial support in a school environment near Fall River, MA. This onsite position is ideal for individuals passionate about empowering students to achieve success through quality therapy services. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will extend through November 2, 2026, offering a meaningful chance to make a significant difference during a short leave period.
You'll enjoy a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working weekdays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a half-hour unpaid lunch.
Key Qualifications
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience within a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to clearly present findings and collaborate with educational staff and families
- Commitment to delivering direct therapy and individualized interventions
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments for students
- Prepare comprehensive reports and present evaluation results at meetings
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions to support student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integrated care
- Maintain up-to-date records and comply with all regulatory requirements
