Project Manager - Special Projects

Position Summary

If you love managing construction projects, mentoring?others?and are passionate about safety, Southland has an opportunity for you as a Project Manager! In this role, you will work on exciting, commercial MEP projects, while developing future project managers and leaders.?

Position Details

• Develops?client relations by providing project status updates to client and leadership.?

• Managed budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for project.?

• Participates in project meetings with internal departments.?

• Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project?is?on schedule?

• Develops?budget analysis reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders and other?report?as necessary.?

• Delegates work and?serves?as?mentor?to Project Engineers.??Provides coaching and performance?feedback?as necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage small teams?

• Strong negotiation skills?

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills?

• Strong financial acumen?

• Excellent project management skills?

• Experience managing subcontractors?

• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.?

• Minimum 5 years' experience?

• Active Top Secret security clearance?required.?
