Computer Aided Design Technician
PTS Advance
PTS Advance is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician to support technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers on a variety of projects. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional looking to build their skills and contribute to high-quality engineering and design projects. Assist detailers, designers, and engineers in developing high-quality CAD solutions. Prepare and revise engineering drawings, basic components, and layouts from sketches or existing designs. Prepare and revise plot drawings. Assist with drafting design and project documentation. Follow company and client drafting standards, procedures, and discipline-specific drafting practices. Utilize standard CAD and drafting programs to complete project assignments. Research project concerns and assist in recommending solutions to design problems. Support continuous drafting and design improvement efforts. Assist with special projects and other assignments as directed by management. Perform other duties as assigned while complying with company policies and standards. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED and coursework in Drafting Technology required. AutoCAD experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Demonstrated leadership skills. Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop within the CAD field. CAD experience with some GIS experience . Specialized CAD certification. Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located, without time limitations, restrictions, or the need for work sponsorship.
