Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: New York

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 5x8 Hour Schedule (09:00 - 17:30)

Job Description: The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Monitor patient safety during procedures, including administering sedation as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Conduct post-procedure assessments and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in catheterization and interventional radiology.
• Current New York State RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
