Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital located in Minneola, Florida, hiring an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. For over 30 years, they have proudly served Lake County's pet community with compassionate, high-quality care. This role focuses on urgent care cases, providing an excellent opportunity for either an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate to thrive in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a set schedule of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3pm to 12am, as well as every other Sunday from 8am to 8pm. The hospital provides veterinary care seven days a week, ensuring comprehensive coverage for both routine and urgent needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and diagnostic care for cats and dogs, with an emphasis on urgent and emergency cases. Daily duties include conducting wellness exams, performing diagnostic workups, surgery, and preventive care consultations. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering an environment that supports continued professional growth and hands-on experience across a diverse caseload.

Team

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
