Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school community. Multiple full-time, onsite contract positions are available for the 2026-2027 academic year, each tailored to various areas of special education. This role offers the chance to guide learners from elementary through middle school, providing essential instruction and interventions.

Openings include roles for Mild/Moderate (grades 2-12, K-8, and 7-8), a Mild/Moderate Resource Specialist (K-6), a Mild/Moderate Special Day Class teacher (2-5), and an Emotional Disturbance specialist (6-8). You’ll be meaningfully engaged in the success of students with diverse needs, working alongside a committed team from August 12, 2026, to June 4, 2027.

What you'll need:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential appropriate for assignment (Mild/Moderate, Resource Specialist, or Emotional Disturbance, as applicable)
• Experience supporting students with mild/moderate disabilities or emotional/behavioral needs
• Passion for inclusive education and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and multidisciplinary team members
• Ability to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Previous K-12 special education classroom experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans to support academic and behavioral goals
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Foster a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
