Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Job SummaryThe Kawasaki Robotics team designs and implements robotic solutions for cleanroom semi-conductor robots used in the fabrication of nearly every microchip in the world. This position focuses on robotic software development where you will evaluate and implement high technology solutions for semi-conductor applications.Core Role ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test robot applications for clean room roboticsMentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineersDrive future forward R&D based on the latest technology and best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve reported software bugs/issuesCollaborate with multi-disciplinary team to drive robotic solutionsConsult and work closely with external customers to support and develop software specifications and solutionsContribute to continuous improvement of software and software development processesManage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneouslyQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in engineering5+ years of mechatronics related experiencePassion for robotics or mechatronic systemsStrong working knowledge of Python, C/C++ or similarSelf-starter and able to manage multiple projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate complex concepts to a varied audienceProactive with a positive and collaborative attitudePreferredMaster's degree in engineering with emphasis on robotics or mechatronicsExperience in motion control applications in the robotics or automation fieldPhysical RequirementsAbility to carry, lift, push and pull, bend, walk and stand with objects up to 25IbsAttendance is a requirement of this position
