Assistant Teacher
Full-Time | Lilac City ELC
Lilac City Early Learning Center is excited to expand our team. As we add a new location to our program we have existing staff at our main location re-locating to Balboa and we are looking for passionate teachers to fill the vacated roles.
Our classrooms are guided by Conscious Discipline, trauma-informed care, and developmentally appropriate practice.

- Assist the planning and implementation of engaging curriculum
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
- Complete developmental assessments
- Conduct family conferences
- Maintain daily communication with families
- Supervise Classroom Aides
- Maintain classroom documentation
- Meet licensing requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
Applicants must meet Washington State licensing requirements for Assistant Teachers or be eligible to meet those requirements upon hire.
Required certifications include CPR/First Aid, Food Worker Card, DCYF Background Check, Mandatory Trainings, and STARS requirements.
