Outpatient Physical Therapist – Rehab (Travel Contract)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to a mixed patient population in a rehabilitation setting
• Conduct 60-minute initial evaluations, with complexity-weighted documentation and billing
• Deliver 40-minute follow-up treatment sessions with no double-booking or patient overlap
• Maintain a productivity goal of 70% (approximately 2.7 units per hour, with evaluations weighted by complexity)
• Document all patient care accurately using NetHealth/Redoc EMR
• Collaborate with an on-site manager and interdisciplinary team to support quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with NetHealth/Redoc EMR platform
• Experience working with a mixed outpatient patient population across varying diagnoses and complexity levels
• Familiarity with outpatient productivity standards and unit-based billing practices
