Job Description:Cardiothoracic Surgeon PRN – Denver, ColoradoWhen you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” You’ll practice big-city medicine with a small-city feel.About this role:This is a PRN position to help cover gaps in in clinic and call coverage at our Cardiothoracic Surgery program in the Front Range of Colorado. Opportunities for PRN shifts will be at Saint Joseph Hospital with some shared call at Lutheran Hospital.Compensation for shifts in Denver, Colorado:$4,000 per 24 hour call shiftTravel and accommodations reimbursed via the Intermountain Travel and Expense policyWhat you’ll bring:MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicineABMS board certified in Cardiothoracic SurgeryActive, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain oneBLS certification and DEAMinimum 2 years of practice experienceAbility to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing processAbout us:Did you know we participate in Structural Heart, Electrophysiology and Pragmatic cardiovascular research trials?
