Job Summary:  Are you a compassionate mammography technologist looking to join a growing team and Breast Center ? As a mammography tech , you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms , educate and comfort our patients through their visit, and partner with radiologists to deliver timely results. If you are passionate about women’s health, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence at our health system, this is the job for you.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography/DEXA/X-ray procedures according to ACR standards
\n
• Produce high quality breast images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
\n
• Support and follow all quality and regulatory compliance requirements
\n
• Partner with radiologists and healthcare professionals before/during/after the diagnostic imaging procedure
\n
• Serve as the lead educator to ensure patients understand the mammography process and answer questions with compassion
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• High school graduate; BS degree preferred.
\n
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography.
\n
• Certified in the State of Nevada to practice and administer radiation.
\n
• One-year mammography experience preferred.
\n
• Current BLS certification.
\n
