Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location: Framingham, MAJob Type: Part-Time (5-10 hours/week) Flexible schedule
Setting : Outpatient clinic
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing treatment plans, improving patient mobility, and contributing to high-quality rehabilitative care for both pediatric and adult populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve strength, mobility, and flexibility
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercises and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
- Experience in outpatient settings preferred
- Experience with pediatric and/or adolescent patients is a plus
- Knowledge of manual therapy techniques (craniosacral experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule
