Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Machinist Support for our client. This role is responsible for operating CNC and metal bending equipment, reading design drawings, and supporting varied projects for laboratory and pilot-line operations.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Operate a CNC Hurco VM10 lathe.
• Operate an SDS Easy Bender metal bending machine.
• Perform on-site machining and rule die making.
• Read and interpret design drawings.
• Support Baby, Feminine, and Family Care R&D conceptual and prototype projects.
• Perform routine and repetitive machining tasks as needed.
• Support varied and often urgent projects from labs, pilot lines, and prototyping groups.
• Follow required machine shop safety procedures and practices.
• Work with equipment and processes in the WHBC ICE Machine Shops.
• Adjust work schedule to support R&D operations, including occasional nights or weekends when necessary.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Ability to operate, or learn to operate, the specified machining equipment.
• Experienced machinist preferred.
• Interest in learning on-site rule die making; training will be provided.
• Ability to read and understand design drawings.
• Understanding of hazards associated with machine shop equipment.
• Ability to work independently on varied projects.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work day shift and flex to nights/weekends when necessary.
• Must complete required site HS&E safety training.
• Safety shoes and safety glasses are required.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
