We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Manufacturing Technician , to join our team at our Yuba City, CA facility. The Company is comprised of a Corporate office (Philadelphia, PA), two (2) manufacturing facilities (Philadelphia, PA and Oshkosh, WI) and two (2) repair and service facilities (Philadelphia, PA and Yuba City, CA) located in the United States. In addition, Kingsbury has one (1) manufacturing facility located in Göttingen Germany.

Job Purpose:

Performs various tasks on the shop floor related to the finishing and assembly of industrial bearings including deburring, blasting, tumbling, etching and part marking, parts cleaning, lapping, and basic machine functions. This position provides service and support to the warehouse by handling shipping and receiving tasks.

As the Industrial Manufacturing Technician, the team member will:
  • Loads/unloads merchandise or material from cars or trucks. Packs and unpacks shipments, shelving of parts, pulling orders, and data entry into computerized inventory control systems.
  • Fabricates wood crates and other shipping containers. Installs protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
  • Removes excess material and burrs from surface by performing deburring, blasting, tumbling, staking, etching, lapping, and other basic machining functions.
  • Cleans, assembles, repairs, and inspects machined parts, using hand tools.
  • Operates all lift equipment in a safe manner to ensure personal protection and to ensure the protection of other personnel and company property.
  • Maintains housekeeping in and around the warehouse storage areas.
  • Follow all safety instructions and procedures.
  • Contributes tin continuous improvement with department objectives.
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Abilities and Other Skills:

Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.

Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Lifting: This position requires lifting up to 25 pounds over 2/3 of the time, and lifting up to 40 pounds 1/3 of the time.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
