Customer Service Associate I

Overview We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate I to join our team at Dollar Tree Stores and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist customers with questions and recommendations Manage sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register Maintain security of cash and protect company assets Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal; ensure all areas are neat and presentable Other duties as assigned Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting Excellent customer service and relationship management skills Strong organizational and communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Perks and Benefits We offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
