Senior Preconstruction Manager
Lead preconstruction efforts, including budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering. Collaborate with project teams to develop and review project scopes, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects. Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate potential challenges. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and company policies. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Support business development by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
A successful Senior Preconstruction Manager should have: strong expertise in preconstruction, cost estimation, and construction planning on projects between $10M-$50M. Proven ability to manage multiple preconstruction managers and estimators effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong client and vendor relationships. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
