Our client, a national law firm, is seeking a Patent Associate .
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong electrical engineering background and substantive patent drafting and prosecution experience to work with a sophisticated national and international client base.
Locations:
Atlanta, Nashville, Houston, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Charleston, Chattanooga, Columbia. Denver, Jackson, Jacksonville, Memphis, Mobile, Montgomery, Nashville, Sarasota, Tallahassee, Tampa, Washington, DC
Salary:
Competitive, based on experience and location, with potential up to $255K
Billable:
1850
Key Qualifications:
3–6 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience in a law firm environment.
Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
USPTO registration required.
Strong experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. patent applications.
Experience with medical devices and/or computer architecture is a plus.
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
Excellent analytical, communication, and legal writing skills.
