Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work is required
• Current and valid Michigan School Social Work licensure
• Demonstrated experience working with middle and/or high school students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to students in middle and high school grades
• Manage a caseload of about 40 students, making regular contact and providing individualized assistance as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school administration to develop student support plans and foster a positive learning atmosphere
• Advocate for students and connect families with community resources
• Conduct assessments, create intervention strategies, and monitor progress
• Maintain accurate records and document interventions in compliance with school and state guidelines
