CNC Machinist on Mazak Lathes - Fenton, MO
Position Title: CNC Machinist - Mazak Lathes
Education: Formal Machinist training with certificate and/or previous experience.
Experience: 1-3 years previous experience with manual and CNC Mazak lathes.  Extensive knowledge of Mazak equipment and Mazatrol programming.
Location: Fenton, MO.
Job Type:  Full-Time.
Shift: 1st shift - Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm - OR - Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
Remote:  No. On-site in Fenton, MO..
Salary:  Commensurate with experience: $30+/hour, plus benefits.

Relocation:  Not offered.

Position Summary:

The primary function of this Machinist position is to work with the Manufacturing Engineering Group to make components for a wide range of unique equipment used in our manufacturing and assembly process.

Essential Job Duties:

• Program and Set-up CNC Mazak lathes
• Ability to make offsets, change and reset tools
• Inspect and ensure that all dimensions are within print specification
• Complete required documentation with accurate information
• Perform daily preventative machine maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area

Required Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Formal Machinist training with certificate and/or previous experience

Required Experience/Skills:

• 1-3 years previous experience with manual and CNC Mazak lathe
• Extensive knowledge of Mazak equipment and Mazatrol programming
• Excellent blueprint reading skills
• Understanding of cutting tools, speeds and feeds, and machining techniques
• Ability to use precision measuring devices
• Understanding of G and M code
• Aptitude to learn pertinent software
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Work Environment

• Will be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, oils, and chemicals in a loud manufacturing environment
• Will be standing on concrete the entire shift

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
