POSITION SUMMARY: The Apartment Manager supports the CHS mission by providing effective tenant relations, property maintenance, and assisting with program eligibility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * As the primary point of contact, assists tenants by responding to tenant inquiries and concerns. * Assists the Operations Coordinator by managing the recertification process and lease management. * Ensures property is well-maintained by regular property inspections, maintaining common areas, and coordinating make-ready procedures. * Fosters a positive, safe environment for residents by ensuring the property complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. * Accepts and carries out special assignments or duties when requested. Include the physical requirements that the employee needs to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. * Travel by personal vehicle as needed. * Prolonged periods of working at a computer. * Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: * 1+ year of experience as an apartment manager * 1+ year of experience as a property manager SHIFT: PTI (15 hrs./week) Monday-Friday TBD * Free Rent/Utilities in lieu of wages * $15.00/hr.
