The purpose of this position is to serve as a host for The Collective, coordinate church events at all campuses, and serve as an Assistant to the Director of Events and Hospitality. This position will report to the Director of Events and Hospitality. Below are expectations for which this position will be responsible and accountable during each of the performance review cycles.What you'll doCoordinate events and meetings at Armour, Sandy Springs, and any future campuses of Christ CovenantManage church-wide events including but not limited to: First Sundays, Member Meetings, Special Events, additional events as directed by Director of EventsCoordinate Deacon and Elder Meetings and EventsAssist and/or coordinate with larger ministry events as capacity allows and at the discretion of the Director of Events (Reach the World, Kids Camp, Bless the City, etc.)Lead Event and Hospitality Volunteer Serve Teams for all campusesLounge TeamConnect TeamSpecial Events TeamHost The Collective during office hoursWelcome and greet all guests, answer office phoneBrew coffee, stock snacks, manage and order inventory (snacks, water coolers, coffee and supplies, paper goods, drinks, catering supplies, etc.)Maintain a welcoming atmosphere - music, cleanliness, tidiness, etc.Conference Rooms stocked and tidyManage inventoryLinens/dry cleaning for linensDecor and event inventory (i.e. serving pieces, votives, etc.)Manage Lost and FoundKeep pantry and storage areas organized and tidyAssistant to the Director of Events and HospitalitySpecial Projects as neededTasks as neededManage Christmas and Easter decor/process alongside Creative Team and at the direction of the DoEHGeneralPerform other duties as assignedManage relationships with staff, elders, committees, volunteersEnsure that all work efforts align with the stated staff values of Christ Covenant.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree preferredExperience: Event or hospitality industry experience preferred
