Maintenance Mechanic Class B

Education LevelHigh School Diploma or Equivalent1. Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and support equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.2. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems under the guidance of senior mechanics or supervisors.3. Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or malfunction, and promptly report findings to the maintenance team.4. Respond to unplanned maintenance requests to restore equipment functionality and maintain production schedules.5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.6. Follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure a safe work environment during maintenance tasks.7. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvements and efficiency gains.8. Assist with installation, setup, and testing of new machinery or components as directed by supervisors.9. Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and parts are properly stored after use.10. Participate in ongoing training and development to build technical skills and stay current with equipment and safety standards11.
