HVAC Refrigeration Technician

HVAC&R TechnicianKidsPeace is Seeking a dedicated HVAC&R Technician to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heating ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and to oversee Facility Building Automation Equipment operation and repair.Shifts Available:Full-TimeDay ShiftQualifications:High School Graduate or equivalent; Graduate of an HVAC&R Vocational Technical Training Program required.Minimum of 3 years' experience in the HVAC&R trade and building automation operation preferred.EPA Certification for proper refrigerant practices required.Valid state driver's license required.Must be at least 18 years of ageAble to work with children.Responsibilities:Installation of all types of HVAC-Refrigeration equipment in a safe and acceptable manner. Install electrical wiring and control wiring as necessary. Properly design and size an HVAC&R system. Install and repair duct work. Utilize proper filtration. Troubleshoot and repair or replace HVAC&R components as necessary. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. Perform indoor air quality testing. Utilize safe working practices. Assist with snow removal. Respond to after hour emergencies as required; Carry and respond to a departmental pager as necessary. Perform clerical tasks related to the position, (EPA regulations) as required and necessary. Assist with other maintenance tasks and duties as necessary and required.
