Regional Steel Hauling Opportunity
For drivers near Chicago ready to run structural steel on dedicated regional lanes with real weekends off.
The freight: Flatbed hauling of steel pipe and flat steel across regional lanes. Average 2,3002,800 miles per week, with 4050% of loads tarped.
The home time: Weekend home time, built into the schedule.
The pay:
- $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid on first paycheck
- 27% linehaul pay
- Average weekly earnings: $1,500$2,000
- $40 tarp pay
- $50 layover pay
- $16 detention pay
- $300 weekly per diem
The equipment: Late-model Freightliner and Kenworth automatic tractors.

- 22+ years old
