Working remotely, the full-time State Licensed Claims Counsel will investigate and resolve title insurance claims, support Claims Management with managerial tasks, and direct litigation efforts while collaborating with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities Conduct investigations of claims and develop strategies for resolution, focusing on complex legal issues Negotiate settlements with claimants and oversee litigation processes as necessary Draft agreements, training materials, and provide educational presentations for staff and stakeholders Required qualifications Juris Doctorate Degree Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state Minimum five years' experience in title insurance claims administration or real estate law Ability to analyze and interpret legal documents and present findings effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic mathematical skills
