Shift Details

Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 10-hour shift, 40 hours per week.

About the Position

The CT Technologist, under the guidance of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist, is responsible for performing computerized tomography procedures, including some invasive techniques. The position involves operating a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Position and instruct patients for CT procedures.
• Operate specialized imaging equipment.
• Determine appropriate technical factors for image exposure.
• Ensure correct labeling of all films.
• Maintain safe and quality patient care during procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved AMA school of Radiology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Two years of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 pounds from the floor to a wheelchair or waist level.
• Ability to move 40 pounds over a distance of six feet.
• Ability to reach overhead while holding 25 pounds.
• Ability to lift patients from wheelchair to bed level.
• Ability to pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed.
• Ability to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher a distance of 300 feet.
