Quality Manager (ISO 9001 / Metal Fabrication Manufacturing)

Position: Quality Assurance Manager
Compensation: $90K - $130K 
Location: Denver, NC

About the Role: 

We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives and ensure compliance across a precision manufacturing operation. This role will oversee quality systems, inspections, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts while partnering with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the quality function and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, UL, and applicable quality standards
• Oversee incoming, in process, and final inspections
• Manage nonconformance investigations and corrective actions
• Utilize 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis methodologies
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives
• Maintain calibration programs, quality records, and document control
• Coordinate customer audits, supplier audits, and certification assessments
• Track quality KPIs and communicate results to leadership
• Train employees on quality standards and best practices

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 quality systems
• Knowledge of CAPA, SPC, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis
• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or precision machining operations preferred
• Familiarity with injection molding, CNC machining, or sheet metal manufacturing is a plus
• CQE, CMQ, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
