THE ROLE The Assistant Store Manager will partner closely with the Store Manager to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, delivering an exceptional client experience while driving business growth. This individual will play a key role in balancing leadership, client development, and operational excellence in a hands‑on, entrepreneurial environment. The Assistant Store Manager will act as a brand ambassador within the San Francisco market, building meaningful relationships with both local and international clientele. Primary Responsibilities Partner with the Store Manager to drive business performance, executing strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals Lead by example on the sales floor, demonstrating the Thom Browne selling ceremony and maintaining a strong personal contribution to sales Execute clienteling strategies, including outreach, private appointments, and local networking to grow the business Act as a brand ambassador within the local community, identifying opportunities to elevate brand presence and client engagement Coach, motivate, and develop the team through in-the-moment feedback, structured training, and performance management Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of top talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture Ensure operational excellence across all store functions, including inventory management, shipments, stock organization, and store standards Maintain visual merchandising and presentation in alignment with company directives and brand standards Partner with the Store Manager to manage store expenses and payroll, ensuring alignment with financial targets Utilize CVM tools and client data to drive targeted outreach, track performance, and identify opportunities for growth THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 5+ years of experience in a retail leadership role A hands-on leader who leads from the sales floor and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment Demonstrates the ability to balance selling, operations, and team leadership seamlessly Passion for fashion, styling, and delivering an elevated client experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills; highly relationship-driven and influential Proven ability to drive results, develop talent, and execute business strategies Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented with a strong sense of ownership WHAT WE OFFER YOU Competitive compensation. Salary Range is $80,000 - $90,000 + target bonus.
