PhysioSpace LLC is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at our orthopedic outpatient office located in Chesterfield, Virginia. This full-time role requires a compassionate professional who is eager to join our clinical team in providing high-quality rehabilitative care. You will collaborate closely with a licensed Physical Therapist to facilitate patient recovery and enhance overall functional mobility following musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and a variety of orthopedic conditions.

Work Environment

Positioned within a vibrant hospital setting, the PhysioSpace outpatient office features state-of-the-art equipment and technology optimized for orthopedic rehabilitation. Our collaborative atmosphere fosters an interdisciplinary approach, allowing PTAs, physical therapists, and other health professionals to work together seamlessly. You will enjoy a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet supportive environment where patient care is the primary focus.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at PhysioSpace LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with licensed Physical Therapists to implement personalized treatment plans that enhance patients' mobility and optimize their recovery.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and interventions such as manual therapy, functional training, and modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy.
• Monitoring patients' rehabilitation progress through detailed assessments and documentation, ensuring reactive adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Educating patients on the importance of adhering to home exercise regimens and effective injury prevention strategies.
• Maintaining accurate records that comply with clinic policies, regulatory standards, and best practices to support patient care.
• Contributing to clinical meetings with case presentations, reinforcing a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries. This includes individuals facing diverse challenges associated with post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports-related injuries. Your role ensures that these patients receive compassionate, patient-centered care that addresses both their physical and emotional rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• An active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Virginia.
• A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education, from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Demonstrable knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and an understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation modalities.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, those with backgrounds in orthopedic outpatient settings or rehabilitation clinics are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with specific rehabilitation protocols or specialties in orthopedic care will also be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
