Uses proper cooking, cooling and reheating techniques to ensure food safety.Principle Responsibilities:Prepares food in a timely, appealing and appetizing manner.Uses proper cooking, cooling and reheating techniques to ensure food safety.May assist in restocking work station.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job descriptionPreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDAssociate's or Vocational degree in the culinary field0 to 2 years of food service experienceLicenses/Certifications:Certification for Food Safety and Handling preferred upon hirePhysical Demands:Medium Work:Lifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay Range: $18.49 to $25.19 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
