Family Medicine Physician

About the role Join an employed position within a busy, well‑respected Family Medicine/Internal Medicine/Med/Peds practice in Williamsport, Indiana. The role offers an outpatient and inpatient practice setting with a 20‑patient daily volume and light inpatient rounding. The schedule is full time with productivity incentives (RVU/Quality) and a $25,000 commencement bonus. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for a diverse patient panel ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Manage a manageable daily volume of approximately 20 patients, ensuring each receives the time and attention they deserve. Perform small in‑office procedures such as punch biopsies and lesion removal. Assist with light inpatient rounding (averaging 1‑2 patients daily) to maintain continuity from clinic to hospital. Mentor medical students and residents. Serve as a member of a collaborative team within a nonprofit health system. Participate in catch‑up activities and out‑patient call structure: none, inpatient call 1‑2 nights per week, weekend call 1:6. Qualifications MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board, obtained prior to hire date. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds. Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. Advanced Life Support certification preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
