This leadership role will oversee projects from due diligence and entitlement through design, permitting, and construction support while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

* Manage multiple land development projects from planning through construction
* Lead project schedules, budgets, scope, and quality control efforts
* Oversee site design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design
* Coordinate permitting and entitlement efforts with local agencies and municipalities
* Review engineering plans, reports, and technical documents
* Serve as the primary client contact throughout project delivery
* Lead project meetings, presentations, and stakeholder coordination
* Monitor project financial performance and profitability
* Manage contracts, change orders, invoicing, and project risk
* Support business development, proposal preparation, and client pursuits
* Mentor engineering staff and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain within six months
* 10+ years of land development engineering experience
* 5+ years of project management experience
* Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and site development
* Experience with Florida permitting and regulatory requirements
* Proven success managing multiple projects, budgets, and teams
* Strong client relationship and communication skills
