Job Summary:
The position of CT Technologist is located in Peoria, Illinois, within a radiology department that utilizes Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) platforms. This role involves performing basic computed tomography (CT) scans in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with high acuity patients. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in operating GE brand CT scanners, possess a valid Illinois license or submit confirmation of an application in progress, and hold current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience in Level 1 trauma settings and previous travel assignments are preferred.

Job Details:

• Shift: Twelve-hour shifts, with options including nights starting at 7:00 PM, days starting at 7:00 AM, or 10-hour days starting at 8:00 AM.
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois license or confirmation of application initiation, ARRT certification, BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience performing basic CT scans, trauma experience, and prior travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 trauma experience, experience with GE CT scanners, ability to start IVs, and working in high volume, high acuity environments.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a Level 1 trauma care setting within an acute care environment. Candidates must provide the last four digits of their Social Security Number during submission. Candidates should understand the facility maintains a drug-free campus and must produce a negative drug screen.
