Craftsperson For Oar Production

Concept2, a market leader in the manufacturing of stationary fitness ergometers and composite racing oars, is seeking a skilled and motivated craftsperson to join our Oar Production team at our Headquarters in Morrisville, VT on a full-time basis. You will be trained to craft the finest oars in the world - those used by the majority of Olympic rowers.

What You'll Do:

• Handling carbon fiber material and epoxy resins
• Molding component parts, shafts, and blades
• Cutting and finishing parts
• Assembling molded parts into a finished product
• Testing, inspecting, and boxing oars
• Noticing and solving problems proactively and collaboratively
• Attending and contributing to team meetings
• Repairing oars
• Area clean-up and other duties to assist and support Production and business needs

What We Expect:

• At least one year of professional experience working with your hands
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Excellent reasoning/problem-solving skills
• Proficient with a variety of shop tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Willingness and ability to work with carbon fiber material and epoxy resins and dust
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (only occasionally)
• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A., now and in the future. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Compensation for this position consists of a fixed salary range of $50k-$60k, plus participation in a quarterly variable wage program that is based on company and employee performance, and that adds significantly to total compensation.
