Description
American Traveler is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist for a middle school setting, requiring an active Illinois OT license issued by IDFPR.
Details
- On-site position at two middle schools within a school district
- Float role supporting multiple school buildings
- Day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 7:45am-3:15pm
- 7.5 hour work day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch
- 35 billable hours per week
- Assignment runs through the end of the school year
Requirements
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license issued by IDFPR
- License required if applicable
- CPS fingerprinting and CANTS background checks required, with clearance results needed prior to start date
Additional Information
- Work as part of a collaborative team of eight Occupational Therapists supporting the school district
- Serve on middle school building-level teams to conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility determinations
- Provide MTSS and IEP support to students
- Collaborate with school teams to promote generalization of skills across educational settings
