LABORER (CIVIL)

ARIZONA 5151 East Broadway Boulevard Tucson, AZ 85711, USA Summary Take direction from a skilled worker or foreman to assist crew in construction duties. Performs any combination of following tasks to receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. Typical Duties To work well with supervision. Furnish tools and materials for others in their crew. Work with various hand tools. Operate limited types of equipment. Thorough knowledge of roles and responsibilities of the craft being supported. Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards. Perform all other job related duties as requested by supervision. Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience Must have over three (3) years of maintenance/turnaround/construction/ or mechanical experience and knowledge of basic hand tools. Must be able to pass Craft Helper proficiency testing at or above 70%. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen and if hired, will be subject to random drug & alcohol testing during the course of employment. Must passa pre-employment criminal background check. Physical Requirements Stand or walk for long periods Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects and carry tools and equipment Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
