Handyman Position Available

Ace Handyman Services of Lincoln Way is one of the southland's top-rated home repair and home improvement companies. We serve homeowners and businesses throughout the area and are known for quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and trust. We are currently seeking an experienced, multi-skilled handyman for a part-time role to start, with the opportunity to grow into a more consistent or full-time position as workload and fit allow. We are especially seeking candidates who live in Plainfield, Joliet, New Lenox, Frankfort or surrounding areas to serve our growing territory.

This position is a great fit for an experienced handyman or remodeler who: has worked in remodeling projects or renovation environments; is talented, multi-skilled and comfortable handling multiple trades on a single project; enjoys and excels at problem-solving when plans aren't perfect or conditions change; is committed to quality work and customer service; has excellent communication skills; wants steady, scheduled work without chasing leads, bidding jobs, or managing customers; is open to starting part-time and growing with a reputable company.

We are specifically looking for craftsmen with broad experience, especially in remodeling-type work, including drywall repair and finishing, carpentry and trim, painting, tile and flooring repair and installation, basic plumbing and electrical (within handyman scope). This role is best suited for individuals with remodeling experience who are comfortable working across multiple trades rather than specializing in only one. You do not need to know everything — but you should be comfortable handling jobs where multiple skills are required and decisions must be made on-site.

Proper equipment includes own variety of professional tools necessary for scope of work, reliable, presentable vehicle, well organized and job-ready.
