Inova Alexandria Hospital Medical Surgical is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be Full Time | Days | 6:00PM 6:30AM | Days Vary | Every other Weekends & Rotating Holidays |

Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities :

Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.

Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

May perform additional duties as assigned

Training : Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)

Classroom-style sessions: 8AM 4:30PM (6 shifts total)

Virtual training modules.

On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

Education : High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience : 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completing acute care clinical rotation, and actively enrolled in a nursing program

Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire

Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
