Electrical Designer
Prolim Global
Prolim is hiring for a Electrical Designer for a leading client.
Scope
- Provide electrical design support for custom industrial machinery by producing production-ready electrical documentation and control panel designs.
Must Have Experience
- 5+ years Industrial Electrical Design experience
- AutoCAD Electrical experience
- Machine Control System Design
- PLC I/O, VFDs, Servo Systems, Safety Circuits
- ETO environment experience
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Create wiring diagrams and BOMs
- Select electrical hardware
- Update legacy documentation and updates
- Support UL508A/NFPA 79/NEC compliance
- Coordinate with Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing
Preferred Experience
- Allen-Bradley/Rockwell
- UL508A and NFPA 79
- Plastics extrusion or converting
- Industrial automation and machine safety
