A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required. What You’ll Do Ensure all medical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. Repair, maintain and calibrate medical imaging devices in a hospital or healthcare setting. Make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices. Collaborate with clinical staff and other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve equipment-related issues. Document service activities and maintain accurate records within the department’s tracking systems. Participate in an on‑call rotation and provide emergency technical support when needed. What You Bring Either 1+ years of imaging experience (preferably radio frequency, X‑ray portables, C‑Arms, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, etc.) or a senior biomedical equipment technician with over 3 years of experience willing to receive training in the imaging space. Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting required. Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices and the ability to complete preventative & corrective maintenance on medical devices. Specific experience with the following medical devices or equipment: Siemens or GE Ultrasound, X‑Ray portables, C‑Arms and general X‑Ray experience is preferred, but not required and will train. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environment. Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training. #J-18808-Ljbffr
