Part Time Hybrid Must be located in: San Antonio Austin Dallas Ft. Worth The Dental Assistant Laboratory Skills Instructor operates under the direct supervision of the Program Director, contributing to the academic and professional development of students within the Dental Assistant program. This role is pivotal in delivering both theoretical knowledge and practical applications through a variety of instructional methods, including classroom teaching, clinical practicums, simulation exercises, and skills laboratory tracking. The position is designed to ensure students achieve educational objectives and gain hands‑on experience necessary for their professional growth. Key aspects of this position include: Providing structured and engaging instruction that aligns with established course materials and learning objectives. Stay current with healthcare practices and standards relevant to the assigned courses. Perform related duties as required to support program objectives. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director. Degree or post‑secondary education and relevant experience meeting state (TWC) and ABHES accreditation requirements. A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field, with prior teaching experience preferred.
