Role Description This full-time, on-site Electrician role is based in Louisville, KY. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with national and local electrical codes. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams, running conduit and wiring, installing panels, switches, and outlets, and performing routine inspections. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing troubleshooting and testing, and completing corrective repairs to ensure safe, reliable operation. The Electrician will document work performed, coordinate with supervisors and project teams, and follow all safety procedures and company standards on job sites. Qualifications Strong knowledge of electricity principles and electrical codes, with the ability to apply them safely on the job. Hands‑on experience with electrical work, including installation, wiring, and panel/device setup in commercial and/or industrial environments. Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to diagnose faults, test circuits, and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently. Background in electrical engineering concepts or formal electrical training is beneficial, including familiarity with drawings, schematics, and load calculations. Valid electrician license or journeyperson certification in Kentucky (or ability to obtain, as required by project and local regulations). Commitment to safety, including adherence to OSHA standards, PPE usage, lockout/tagout, and company safety policies. Ability to work on‑site, lift and carry equipment as needed, use hand and power tools, and work in varying environmental conditions. Effective communication skills, reliability, and the ability to collaborate with project teams and supervisors. Previous experience on federal or commercial projects and with a veteran‑owned or mission‑driven organization is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
