Pipefitter

We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pipe fabrication, installation, brazing, soldering, FCAW welding, and HVAC systems. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Install, repair, and maintain piping and plumbing systems.

• Cut, bend, thread, fit, solder, and braze pipe and fittings.

• Perform FCAW welding and torch brazing using an oxy-acetylene torch.

• Perform copper-to-copper and copper-to-brass brazing using proper capillary-action techniques.

• Complete pipe fit-up, prefabrication, take-offs, and installations.

• Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and visual inspections.

• Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems.

• Use calipers and other measuring tools for accurate fabrication.

• Install and remove pipe insulation in accordance with OSHA and EPA requirements.

• Maintain inventory, safety logs, and inspection records.

• Work safely and effectively with other trades and team members.

• Overtime and Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous Pipefitter or related construction/manufacturing experience.

• Minimum 1 year of pipe brazing experience required.

• Experience with FCAW welding, brazing, and soldering .

• HVAC experience preferred.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience with pressure/leak testing and pipe fabrication.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
