Instrument and Control Electrical Technician

We have an exciting opportunity as an Instrument and Control Electrical Technician to join our team! Responsibilities Emergency repairs (including after hours and weekends). Install, troubleshoot, test, calibrate electric and electronic instrumentation and equipment, many associated with large capacity chiller units and process controls. Install, troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment and controls, such as variable speed drives, PLCs, motor control systems, and Foxboro DCS system. Maintain electrical switchgear and other electrical distribution equipment up to and including 4160 volts. Troubleshoot and maintain communication networks, including fiber optic and Ethernet based components. Support customers and other groups as needed (Operations, Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, and Contractors). Maintain required material and data to support electrical and electronic equipment. Qualifications AAS Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent (e.g., Journeyman Electricians card for an approved apprenticeship). 5 years’ experience in electrical or electronic field. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). Experience with blueprint and electrical schematic drawing interpretation. Preferred Skills/Qualifications Master Electrical License - from National Block exam. ISA Certified Controls System Technician. A+ Certification for computer hardware / software. Universal Refrigerant Certification. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. NFPA 70E / OSHA safety training certification. AutoCad experience.
