SUMMARY
- Operate lines in a safe and efficient manner
- Insure that ALL safety equipment is installed on machines prior to start-up
- Communicate to Production Supervisor when any problems arise that require maintenance
- Assist Production Supervisor where needed
- Insure all health and safety guidelines are followed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Startup and Operation of Injection, Blow Molding and Palletizer machines.
- Perform quality checks on bottles, buckets, and other containers to insure quality of product.
- Report any unsafe condition immediately to Production Supervisor
- Report any unsafe acts by anyone to the Production Supervisor
- Stay with any equipment that is "running"
- Cross-train on all machines to learn how each one operates
- Identify any areas where you feel cost savings may be attained
- Any other duties assigned by management
- Keep regrind down
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Computer skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with others
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED
